My husband is in Information Technology and he is the one who builds up email addresses to all employees.  So for temporary employees he gives them Temporary Email Address.   Before it used to be only for permanent employees and not for all permanent employees, it would depend on your function at  the office.  So now the company has gone a long, long way since everybody has one even the temporary employees.  So when the employees go, their email address no longer exist anymore. This way there new temporary email addresses are given their own email addresses.
