We would really like to improve our phone system, and so we were thinking of adding some type of speech recognition software so that people wouldn’t have to always be pushing numbers on their phone and remembering which number would bring them to which option. Can anyone tell me whether this type of software is very expensive? I am hoping that we can get something that would fit within our budget. We want to try to improve our customer service department so that we can deal more efficiently with our customer’s problems. We think an automated voice recognition system to help direct people would get them to their final destination sooner.
