A few days ago, I went to the mall to buy a new pair of shoes. It was high time, as the pair I was wearing was starting to fall apart. I’m not really into brand names, I just choose shoes that are comfortable, and if they are kind of neat looking, then that’s cool too. The look on my son’s face was priceless when he saw me wearing them; a mixture of shock, embarrassment, and pride. Apparently, none of the other moms at school wear vans shoes. Hey, I don’t shop by brand, just by comfort! And man, are these things comfy.
