After 2 years of community college as a liberal arts major I decided it was time to smarten up and get my accounting degree. I come from a family of certified public accountants. My grandfather was actually the house accountant for the New York Yankees. But I had dreams of rebelling and become a street mime or a baseball player, something far from the numbers and calculations of the accounting world of my relatives. It did not work. I have the numbers in my blood and after almost 3 years of avoiding it, I heard the ledgers calling me to take my place in the family accounting tree.
