I dated a guy who went to a very large Christian church in our area and looking back, I’m rather surprised he ever went on one date with me considering he thought I was part of a “mormon cult“. His friends felt the same way and thought he might be in some kind of spiritual danger has he would have more exposure to my mormon cult. Not surprisingly, we eventually broke up, which is a good thing because I think we were incompatible in more ways than one. He once left me alone with his friends at Denny’s while he went out to the car to check the score of the basketball game. I was rather upset.
