I married my husband in Las Vegas. It was a second marriage and we felt the traditional wedding was a bit too much for our style. I had a traditional wedding set. I received the engagement ring for a gift on Valentine’s Day, and we were married in April. We always talked about having a larger diamond someday, but I really figured it was just talk. I never dreamed he would think of custom jewelry. On our 20th anniversary, he presented me with a customized ring. It has a beautiful ¾ carat emerald cut diamond in an unusual setting. After twenty years, I found out that right after our wedding my husband started putting away a little money each time he went out hunting. He figured if he could spend money on a hunting trip, then he could save a little for a ring for me. I love that man!
