We are so accustomed to driving we don’t often think about the explosive material we are carrying with us, everywhere we go.  Every car or truck is loaded with very flammable material called gasoline.  You can’t go anywhere without it.  Every precaution has been taken to protect occupants from gas tank ruptures in the event of an accident.  Fire retardant materials must also be used in every other component of the car.  Seats, belts, carpet, instrument panels, head liners, and trunk parts should all be made of materials that will not easily burn.  This will help protect drivers from fire hazards.
