I confess. I am a shopaholic.  While I quite enjoy shopping for myself, I must say that gift shopping for family and close friends is very gratifying.  I know their likes and dislikes and set out to find that one present for that special occasion to let them know that I love and appreciate them.  I cannot describe the feeling of euphoria that I experience doing this.  However, there is one gift shopping task that causes me a bit of anxiety: shopping for tween girls.  They struggle with wanting to be grown up and wanting to be little girls.  I have found that most girls in this age group love monogram jewelry.  There are many different styles so it is not difficult to find a piece that would best suit the personality of any tween girl.  By mix and matching colors and types of jewelry, you can create a gift that will have special meaning.  And better yet, there are pieces in all price ranges, which is helpful when gift shopping on a budget.
