Running is perhaps one of the easiest, cheapest, and definately one of the most rewarding ways to stay fit. It doesn’t require any fitness equipment and you can do it at pretty much any time of the day, and any time of the year. The problem is people don’t have the patience it takes to train to run miles upon miles. Instead they want the instant gratification and want to be able to do that right away. When they can’t they get frustrated and simply give up. Let me tell you though, training and meeting smaller goal after smaller goal adds up to be more gratifying than things you get instantly.
