If you love hands-on interactions with wildlife and like to learn about different parts of the world, Kentucky Down Under is an ideal place to visit.  At this unique animal park, visitors can meet a variety of animals originating in Australia.

There are kangaroos, wallabies, birds and a variety of reptiles at Kentucky Down Under.  There are also many friendly domestic farm animals to meet.  A special presentation on the Aboriginal people provides insight into a fascinating segment of Australia’s cultural heritage. 

There are several different exhibits to explore at Kentucky Down Under, including a Discovery Area featuring snakes and reptiles, a Bird Aviary housing friendly Lorikeets, and a beautiful Bird Garden.  The Outback area is where the kangaroos, emus, wallabies and other creatures roam. 

 Rabbits, pigs, goats and other domestic animals are located at the Taraba Station exhibit, and at the Woolshed you can feed lambs and watch the Parade of Rams. 

 After an up-close Australian experience, you can enjoy a totally different, but equally entertaining exhibit at Kentucky Down Under.  Tour the Kentucky Caverns on site for a fascinating look at an active cave with many incredible formations.
