When my husband and I started to discuss our assets and whether or not we needed to update our wills, we knew that we needed to take an inventory of what we owned and our financial holdings. I had picked up a program about estate planning, and it mentioned that taking an inventory was absolutely essential to make sure that things are divided according to our wishes. We managed to do it easily, and then we were able to proceed with updating our legal documents. We feel much more prepared for the future now that things are updated, and we know it will be much easier for our loved ones.
