My younger brother has always looked up to me for advise.  We both attended the same schools and enter the same career fields even though he was five years behind me.  Most of the problems he has encountered I have already met. I was able to encourage him to push for electronic data management for the shop floor soon after he took over his new job.  I had been there and new the benefits that could be derived from such a system.  This enabled him to start out on top of the situation and not have to learn some of the lessons the hard way.
