Ensuring awareness along with complete operator safety is a responsibility which is taken care of by the Elevating Work Platform Association of Australia (EPWA). EPWA is the industry body that provides the elevated work platform certification (EWPC) for suppliers, manufactures, end users, service providers and trainers.

EPWC is a nationally recognized accredited training program by the EPW Association of Australia. The key purpose of this program is to create awareness regarding operator safety measures. The training program came into operations in the late 80’s to meet the regular demand for elevated work platform. The program consists of instruction, training sessions on safety followed by the final assessment of the sessions by the trainers.
