Increasing numbers of people are depending on the Internet to help live their daily existence. For example, I know that I cannot start my day unless I check my email like 100 times. Additionally, there are so many things you can do on the Internet. You can watch re-runs of old TV shows, you can play games, look up recipes, talk to friends, send pictures, send birthday cards and other greetings, use a video phone, send text messages, do homework, go to class, go to work, apply to hundreds of jobs, look up directions, and make reservations at your favorite restaurant or hotel all with the click of a button! It’s bizarre to think that I barely even watch TV anymore. In fact, I could care less as to whether or not I had cable TV. But god help us all if my Internet system crashes. Then what would I do? All those files, links, games, music and other goodies…gone! I can’t even think about it; it’s so upsetting!
