I am the type of person who checks all electrical appliances ten times before I leave home and the worry if I forgot to turn the stove off.  I’ve been known to leave work in the middle of the day because I’m afraid that I left my iron on.  I’m a little bit paranoid and extra cautious when it comes to my home.  So it came as quite a blow when I came home after a long weekend to find water damage in my home.
